Joe Knight - Co-Founder
Joe grew up in Atlanta and attended Auburn University. Upon graduation, Joe moved to DC where he served on the staff of Senator Johnny Isakson and worked for the Ashcroft Group, a strategic consulting firm started by former Attorney General John Ashcroft. After completing his DC tour, he moved back to Atlanta were he served as the political director for Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens.
In addition to starting Go Doorstep, Joe is a founder and principal with Strategic City Partners where he started and currently serves as the Executive Director of the Gateway Marietta CID. He also helped start the Westside/Howell Mill CID and continues to serve as a consultant to the board.
Joe lives with his wife, Sarah, and their son, Shepherd, in the Wildwood neighborhood of Atlanta and was named by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as a 2016 30 Under 30 winner.
Patrick Franks - Co-Founder
Patrick Franks serves as a Co-Founder & Garbage Man at Go Doorstep, a provider of doorstep waste and recycling services to Atlanta’s finest apartment communities.
Most recently, Franks worked on the national accounts team at Rubicon Global, a national provider of asset light waste and recycling solutions. While at Rubicon he helped win over $45m in new business from leading companies in the retail and distribution industries.
Prior to that, Franks served as the executive director of Teneo. He also worked with former Utah governor Jon Huntsman and was the personal aide to former South Carolina governor Mark Sanford.
He is a graduate of Furman University and Woodward Academy.
